CoBots Make Us Proud At States

The CoBots robotics team were one of 60 teams that competed in the State championship last Saturday, where they were awarded first place for “Gracious Professionalism”. We proudly add this award to the first place honors earned previously by our robotics team that include the “The Core Values Award” that the team earned at the Clifton Tournament a few weeks ago and the “Presentation Award” earned at last year’s competition. Montclair Cooperative School Names New Head of School

New Leader Joins the Co-op as its Seventh Head of School December 9, 2014. The Montclair Cooperative School today announced that Namita Tolia will assume the school’s top leadership position beginning July 1, 2015. Co-op Robotics Team Advances to State Competition

Congratulations to our CoBots team who came through the qualifying tournament of the First Lego League with flying colors and qualified for the State competition on December 13th. In the process, the team was awarded the Core Values Award by the Montclair Society of Engineers recognizing the team for Inspiration, Team Work, and Gracious Professionalism during the qualifying weekend. Co-op CoBots Team Tournament This Weekend

After a very successful campaign last year, our very own CoBots robotics team are at it again and have been busy preparing for their first qualifying tournament of the First Lego League this weekend. This year, the CoBots have designed a series of games to explore the fibonacci sequence of numbers. All are invited to come see the robot games in action this Saturday, November 22nd from 1:00pm to 4:30pm at Clifton High School, 33 Colfax Ave., Clifton, NJ 07014.

Montclair Cooperative School Students Excited to be Docents For-The-Day

A group of Co-op 7th and 8th graders have been invited by the Montclair Art Museum to participate in their upcoming Free Family Day this Sunday, November 23rd to be docents for their current show “From Heart to Hand”. Co-op students will be introducing the show to attendees and facilitating discussions throughout the exhibit.
