I am thrilled to work at the Montclair Cooperative School, a place that feels like a second home to me. I had the incredible opportunity to support the Early Ages classroom first, an experience that laid a strong foundation for my journey in education. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies from Walden University, I am honored to step into the role of Associate Teacher in the 2nd grade classroom, where I am fortunate to learn under the guidance of my mentor, Chris. Before joining the Co-op, I dedicated a decade to early childhood education in a daycare setting. This invaluable experience honed my skills and ignited my love for teaching. Together with my fiancĂ©, Francisco, I share my life with three lovable dogs. On weekends, you’ll often find us exploring new hiking trails, and yearly we fly to the Dominican Republic as is a cherished tradition. In the heart of my teaching philosophy lies the belief that education is a dynamic journey of discovery. I am committed to fostering an environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued.
