Robert Marrero
Music Teacher (Early Ages - 2rd Grade)

From a young age, I discovered that my greatest passion is music. I went on to graduate from New Jersey City University with a degree in Music Business, focusing on both Classical and Popular music. Now in my fourth year teaching elementary music at the Co-op, I can honestly say it’s a joy to do what I love every day.

My journey in education began as a paraprofessional working with children with special needs, where I first experienced the powerful impact teaching can have on a child’s life. Since joining the Co-op, I’ve continued to grow as an educator, learning from the amazing team around me. Working in Kindergarten with Hilary was especially rewarding and deepened my love for working with young children.

Alongside teaching, I remain active as a vocalist, performing throughout the tri-state area. I’m an R&B artist, a lead singer at my church, and continue to explore opportunities to share music in meaningful ways. Currently, I offer private voice lessons and lead choir rehearsals for Upper School students, helping them build confidence, skill, and a love for music.
