"Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."
I’m a proud alum, Montclair local, and now the Physical Education teacher at the Co-op. I started at the beginning, as a child in Nursery, and the school has been my inspiration for communication and building community. I am proud to draw on our values and beliefs to give back to our students as a teacher for the past 15 years.
After graduating from the Co-op and attending Montclair High, I received my B.A. in Urban Studies and a teaching certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. While studying at Pitt, I played for the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team for the Panthers.
Coaching soccer is a passion. I am proud to serve as Head Coach for the Montclair High School Varsity Boys Soccer Team and to lead the coaches of the Montclair United Soccer Club.
I have the opportunity to help children find joy in and realize the importance of taking care of their bodies. Our students all have different physical attributes but no matter what ability they have, it is my goal to help them find their own way to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
