I have been teaching at the Co-op since 2001 and feel fortunate to have spent my entire career in this community. I hold a Masters in Education from Bank Street College of Education and earned my undergraduate degree in English. Over the years, I have taught a range of grade levels—including PreK/K, First, Third, and Fifth—but I am happily back where I began: in Kindergarten. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham and continue to deepen my understanding of early literacy instruction. I value the Co-op’s emphasis on knowing children deeply and on learning through doing—both of which have shaped my teaching.
