As Director of the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, one of the largest in the U.S., I’ve developed expertise in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and budgeting. In addition, I serve as Executive Vice President of the Epilepsy Study Consortium, which supports new treatments for epilepsy, and have been on the executive committee of the Epilepsy Foundation of America’s professional advisory board. These roles have deepened my understanding of non-profit dynamics, mission-driven planning, and resource allocation. I’m excited to apply these skills to support and strengthen our community through the Co-op board.
As a parent of two current students and one recent graduate, I appreciate the nurturing environment the Co-op provides and care about the mission of the school.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve watched my children grow and thrive here, and I’m eager to give back to the community that’s given us so much. I’ve been involved
with the school in different ways, from serving on the COVID action committee to coaching the Cobots, and these experiences have given me a deep understanding
of our community’s needs.
