I have been in education for 15 years in technology, program coordination, leadership, and instructional roles. Working in public, private, and corporate organizations provided experiences in teaching, professional development, personalized instruction, constructing SMART classrooms, crafting inclusive learning spaces, and the importance of adopting relevant research-based pedagogies. My time at the Co-op thus far saw great transformation as we quickly moved into a new era of advanced technology use with student devices, digital tools, and modern ways of collaboration. While education was not my first choice, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology, a Master’s of Science in Education, and an Ed. Specialist in Education Technology, and I am pursuing a Doctorate in Education with a focus on the Universal Design for Learning framework.
